4200 Seats - For Sale (Provisionally Sold)

I have a set of 4200 seats for sale. They were recovered in brand new tan leather by Maserati so are in as-new condition. They're heated and the driver's side has memory function. I believe they could be retro-fitted to a 3200, but would advise you check this before buying.

I initially bought them of MAF as I intended to fit the fronts to the Spyder and then make a Sofa for the playroom from the rears. However after carrying out a test fit in the Spyder I have decided that due to the way the seat belt fits although they will work I think it will annoy me. I still have the option of making them into furniture but before I start to convert them I thought I would offer them up on here first just in case anybody needs a set for their car.

I am not looking for any profit so the price is the same as I paid £400, this is an absolute steal! Obviously due to their size & weight collection only from Silverstone, Northants

They look great, I'd have had them but not sure they would fit directly in a 3200 and I just had mine refurbed.

Likewise, Andy. Good to meet you and see your very nice and driven collection;)

Love the Giulietta & SZ.

Funny drive back....went from bright sunshine & 20 degrees through monsoons back home to 20 degrees & bright sunshine again.

They're great seats and a bargain price (I should know!). Dean - are your original low mileage seats not in great condition?

Would love to get one front seat to make into a feature chair, colour not that important but would need to be leather and in good condition. Anyone ideas where best to source?

I agree....I would never try to make a profit our of another forum member either. I am not decided what I am doing with the seats yet. I am planning to keep my 4200 for a long time and they are the same colour as my 4200's. I know from my old R129 SL60 AMG that I had that parts can become end of life and difficult to source in later years.

I has half in the mind to keep them as spares for when I might need them and half maybe thinking of furniture like many others as well. Not sure yet.....will need to think some more. Of course if someone came along that really desperately 'needed' them more than I at the moment I am more than happy to listen to requests for anyone to buy them at my cost.

I did the same with my MK1 Golf seats as the drivers bolster wear out...4200 last a fair few years but start to wear and spoil, so good to have the option of replacement...and of course the old ones can then be re trimmed to at your leisure.
