Not being funny but i would not fit ebay sourced engine parts to any car, definitely not my maserati.

Good luck with that, the way Maserati support spare parts supply for older models Ebay may become more the norm for any parts search as time marches on

Why not?

Probably as good as or better than the original - which are notorious for reading incorrectly and failing.

Hardly a serious issue if it does fail either.

Wish I'd know about that link before buying a genuine item (that probably wont last long) has anyone on here tried them? When I was searching on here nobody had used an aftermarket sensor?

Sorry, i was not trying to knock your alternative part find.

Probably a sweeping statement but in the past i have bought new parts from ebay, they usually failed, leaked or wore out within a short space of time.

So have been a complete waste of time and money, hence my view.

You just have to be careful what you're buying, i still buy after market parts but from local motor factors or reputable suppliers, or genuine parts from ebay would of course be fine.
