4200 Handbrake Cables

Just to let people know I have been after some handbrake cables for the GS as the adjustment is at the limit and I went to order front and rear from ES.

They just called me to advise the items are now discontinued on the 4200.

As the handbrake is a MOT fail in the UK I am not sure if an alternative part exists, if not this could be problematic moving forward.

I have an old one from my GS, when I get time I’ll see if I can get some made up locally.

If Hayden on Maseratilife can get the suspension arms made from scratch I’m sure this is possible!

Hopefully it won't be long until someone can make an aftermarket option as it's going to be needed.

Think we have a pair of new ones on the shelf that we bough from MLC when he sold his 4200 but we won't be selling them.

Happy to have them send for use to remake new ones.

Company has confirmed they can make the cables front and rear, will take about a week to process each order. They do not have the cable profiles in stock so would need the dimensions and lengths for the front and rear?

Does anyone know what the dimensions are and could share?

I have supplied them with pics of the cables and the schematics from ES, once dimensions are know they can quote a price.
