Hi guys,

Would any of you be interested in volunteering your pride and joy for a Shakespeare re-enactment of Romeo & Juliet this May?

Read on .....

"Malcolm, I know you have a said that you probably can't make this year's Stratford Festival of Motoring as you are opening Bar Catalan, but maybe you can help in another way.

One of the activities we are putting on over the weekend is a troupe of actors presenting the ‘famous motoring scenes' from Shakespeare's plays which would be staged in Henley Street close to the birthplace.

This means re-staging bits of Romeo and Juliet so the Montagues and Capulets become those other Italian warring families, the Maseratis and Ferraris.
Juliet's balcony scene would have her sitting in an open top Ferrari and Romeo in a Maserati.
We may also stage the fight scene with two cars as backdrops.

Do you know anyone with a Maserati Cabrio that we could use for the purpose?"

You can contact Tony Merrigold at: TMerrygold@BTInternet.com
