4200/GS Crankshaft / TDC / Angular speed sensor replacement

Gents,

Has anyone replaced their 'angular speed sensors' (part no 182194 item 53 on Eurospares diagram).

I am going to do this soon and was wondering if it's going to be a simple swap or turn into an epic.

There appear to be no threads covering this job or videos I can find on youtube.

I've never heard of the requirement to change, so chances are very few, if anyone on the forum has done it (which is good of course).
Why are you changing yours I assume due to a problem?

It's the age old hot starting issue. It happens randomly and not on refuelling. I've already changed the fan resistor which was well gone, I've never heard the full fans since.

I also have a replacement thermostat coolant sensor, which I'm going to change soon.

The car has had dealer 4 yr service including lambdas, spark plugs and has a new maf sensor so I know everything is ticatyboo other than this slightly annoying issue.
