For those of you who have the bigger ashtray and would like a cupholder. I have an easy solution. I may have cupholders to offer. Heres how the install goes. Open the lid of your ashtray, pull out the tray that you would dump ashes into. Remove the screw, pull out ashtray and unplug the cig lighter. Then drop in this cupholder and your good to go. Its very simple and takes 2 minutes.. You can either put a drop of silicone on each corner for better securement or just leave it lie in place for easy removal and cleaning. Its felt lined with a beautifull chrome ring just like an oem would be. An OEM cupholder is $250 or $300. To put this in prespective heres how I got to my price. The chrome ring is almost $20. My labor and other supplies has to be worth $80 so my price for this is $100 plus shipping. Id like to see what the market would be like for these so let me know thru pm or preferably email. Please email me to place an order and View attachment 31083View attachment 31084for more details Larry35661@msn.com,,,Thanks

It wont fit in yours Dave. yours is the facelift interior with the small ash tray that opens backwards in front of the cup holder. 12 volt lighter / power point in there as well. Its the raised ridge just behind the electric mirror switches and in front of the cup holder.

There is - It should only be 2 wire, so you can route it anywhere, however it needs to ascetically pleasing to the folk on here and who can live without a mobile charger - Moi!!!

Personally I don't need a cup holder <ducks> but would like to lose the ashtray as the script is bust and £185 for a new one is insane!

Safrane, I have one of those GS center consoles to that I wanna sell reasonably. ....As for the charger goes, I have a few spare bezels like the ones pictured. Ill experiment when im done traveling. I think I can put one rite behind the mirror switch then problem solved. But id have to then do this on an exchange basis.

Hi

Still new to this site and only had my 4200 for a week. One thing i do miss as silly as it sounds is a cup holder :) I am happy to lose the ashtray but similar to others cant lose the lighter as i need this for charging etc.

What options do i have please?
