4200 Colour combinations

Me again. I'm still on the hunt for my next car and the wait is killing me so I'm thinking of widening the colour options I'd set myself.
Richard Grace is on the job and I'm scouring almost hourly for anything new popping up in the classifieds of Pistonheads, Auto Trader etc...

Initially I wanted either black or dark blue with any of the cream, beige, tan interiors.
As I've been looking, I'm being drawn to other exterior colours and recently I added that icy blue colour to the list (sorry, I don't know the official colour names) Again, that would be with the cream, beige, tan interiors.

Either I'm getting more impatient or slightly more desperate because today I've been looking at the silver with the red interior, particularly the full red with the seats and carpets matching.

I'm still not a fan of the Grey interiors, no matter what I'm told they look like in the flesh.

This led me to wonder...
What are the most popular combinations and is that silver/red combo a bit of an oddity?

any dark and cream seems the most common/liked combo.
imo, silver with red interior is nice and just a little different. I have a grey alfa gt with red interior and love it.
some have said they would run a mile from the green on green of my 3200 and can understand that thinking, but as ever, colour combos need to be seen in the flesh to be really appreciated.........hasten to add, even grey interior combos can be appreciated.

Had Alfieri Grey with red leather and loved it, and easy to keep clean too.

Red and silver I would consider but I even like the gold:

Its probably lovely but with no roof that means only 2 seats I think. If thats the case then it's a no go sorry.
plus I already have a 2 seater convertible car. This next one neeeds a proper roof and at least 4 seats

My Elise was silver and red, really liked it, a good combination.
My Maser is Sebring Blue with beige, again a really nice grown up luxury classic colour combination, befitting of the mark.
I have to agree regarding the greys, sorry I don't like a grey shade for the paintwork, and neither the interior especially, but we all have different tastes!

Love my silver and burgundy ( probably the wrong description:)
Some people didn't even notice it in the car park at work, I fact one colleague asked how long I'd had it last week!

There's a gold? I'm assuming that's an exterior colour yes?

It's called Quarzo Dolomite and is a standard 3200 colour but I don't know if it was offered for the 4200. It was available as a special order colour at a £2500 premium on the QP.
