Hi
My hazard warning lights have given up the ghost and I was wondering if anyone has any pointers regarding diagnosis. I read somewhere that there is a fuse of sorts under the armrest?

Mine were acting up, it was the relay, I used one found on some BMWs, part number 1388 533 Siemens 72BB301

Another vote for the relay.

Replaced with a Herth + Buss relay from Autodoc.

Ca. £35 incl delivery if you buy using the Autodoc app and depending on how much is taken off on the day. Discounts are variable but regulalrly see 42% off if you are not in a hurry.

I managed to replace it myself so must be doable.

Part no on Autodoc is 75605151

Thanks all. Indicators are working ok but not the hazards si I’m thinking that it may be the hazard switch itself on the console. Is there a tutorial/ instruction on how to remove it. Will probably try and get a replacement relay anyway but couldn’t find the Hella part on Amazon.

Seeing the GS hazard button failing a lot lately. It can’t be bought separately but the mechanism can be swapped, it’s just a matter of finding the right one. A QP5 is similar but much smaller.

It is worth swapping the relay first (up above the accelerator pedal and a pig to get to)

Ignore it when it tells you that it won't fit a Maserati.

If indicators are working, it may well be the hazard switch but as Matt says, try the relay first.

Thanks all . I’ll let you know how I get on. Managed to get a new Hella relay inc postage for £45 off eBay.

Hazards fixed! Got a new relay but was fiddling around underneath glovebox to get blower working and must have touched a wire and lo and behold hazards started working! Bloody Italian electrics. Air bag and pre-tensioner light are also on so will post a thread for help with this one as I haven’t got a scooby! Thanks all for your advice!
