How can I find out where this Maserati 3200GT was sold when it was new. It has lots of Japanese writing but its not a right hand drive.

Suspect it was Japan as higher end cars tend to be bought LHD as it is seen as a (strange) status symbol

Funny thing with Japanese is that they prefer exotic cars to be LHD as it boosts the status of exoticness.

has this car appeared in another thread recently? the VIN is number 155 so early in the production run.
Same answer as the other (imaginary) thread - any main dealer can help. Start by asking for parts department and a quote for < any part > maybe rear reflector from bumper. (this was about £5 last. time I needed one).

Same as mines here in UAE, J-spec but LHD

So yours would be originally sold in Japan then entered Canada sometime in its life.

There are websites that specialize in this where they will get you the original auction sheet of the car

Hello from Japan.

It is a car sold by a Japanese dealer, "Cornes Company Limited".

In Japan, the handles on both sides are mixed and running.

The round sticker is a proof of repairs specified by a public agency.
