Hi all,

Hope you can help out. I have a 3200GT (year 2000) and the white dashboard clock in the middle is not "ticking" anymore. After a flat battery a few weeks back it did not work anymore after recharging the battery. All other electronics are fine and the car runs perfectly. Anybode has seen this before or have any advice ?

Much appreciated,

The thing has been ticking constant for 2 decades now so maybe it’s just failed.

Check the fuse and do a battery reset, suppose you might get lucky?

[QUOTE = "Conaero, post: 631173, miembro: 4"] La cosa ha estado en constante constante durante 2 décadas, así que tal vez solo haya fallado.

Revisa el fusible y reinicia la batería, ¿supongo que podrías tener suerte? [/ QUOTE]
Verifique el fusible

I did a battery reset but did not help so maybe yes, the fuse. Can anyone direct me which fuse to check exactly and where these fuse(s) are located ? In the trunk ?

Many thank

Do the hands move when you press the setting button? If they do, hold the button down and let the clock spin for about a minute or two during which time the hands will have covered the equivalent of many hours. This will often get electric clocks up and running. Ideally it probably requires a proper service. I had to do this on my twenty two year old Triumph motorbike this year, and the clock is still running.

The hands don't move unfortunately, also not by pressing the settings button on the bottom of the clock ((

Never mind, I fixed the problem myself already. You have to disconnect the battery for more the 5 minutes and then connect it back, after that the clock was 'ticking' again :)

That's great that you've got the clock working again. I'm quite intrigued that disconnecting the battery for five plus minutes rectified the problem.
