just felt I had to praise this amazing car, had her for about 5 months now marios did cambelt water pump and all pulleys plus full service, and she hasn,t put a foot wrong,, there that's done it lol, only problem is the battery has to be kept topped up hence smart charger trickle, she feels tight in all respects gearbox is a dream having had alfa 75,s used to patient engagement of the gears, underneath the car is amazing no sign of any corrosion anywhere I must admit due to the bad reputation of this model my confidence was low but after a few decent trips in traffic etc nothing but enjoyment definitely a drivers car I,m 60 this year so days of doughnuts and drifting behind me lol, my aim is to keep her 5yrs till I retire then who knows, the best Italian car I,ve owned cant top that regards dave

:) Good to hear. Keep using her and hopefully you will get many miles of trouble free motoring. Niggles tend to appear if they are unused for extended periods.

Great report and happy for you.
Dont sweat about the odd error and niggle, almost all things will be cured by battery reset. Get used to doing regular throttle pot resets, to keep things in shape. Enjoy :D

Great to hear you are enjoying ownership, +1 for battery reset. If I'm going overnight anywhere I take a battery pack just in case.

If you regularly try and use some wide open throttle then you shouldn't need a reset. That's what I do ;)

The 32 is undoubtedly the most under appreciated, best value (if sorted) and most fun of the 3 "middle age" sisters. glad the old girl sorted and behaving for you, when on song, these cars are unparalleled in bang for buck and smiles for miles ;)

couldn,t agree more I was so close not to getting a 3200 after listening to all the knockers but they aren,t alone with their faults in the Maserati world, thanks greg regards dave

Have you checked for an old tracker on the car, they are the usual cause of battery drain? Apparently the fracker companies will remove them for free.

never thought of a tracker still being there how would you know one was there? take it a company who deals with them would have the equipment to tell, tried that ped pot reset worked a treat not as touchy on the throttle thanks again dave

100%, tracker causing battery drain, after 16 plus years you can bet bottom dollar its battery has burned out so is draining the cars. Finding the bu66ers is difficult mind, they hide them in all sorts of places.

Just give it death at every opportunity ;) never mine the battery resets!

Before these old 3200 Masers become collectors items!

I have never had to do a battery reset on mine, and have done a throttle reset twice in 5 years. As people have said, use her she will thank you for it :)

thanks lads will follow that tracker lead up, never done a battery reset either, but that ped pot reset had a noticeable difference try to run her at least once a week and not short runs, when it warms up she will be out a lot more thanks lads dave
