Have a 2000 3200 with50k miles .
Yesterday and today when I took her out I noticed that when I came to a stop and pressed in the clutch the revs went up to 1500 and stayed on until I moved off when it went back to normal again.
No check engine or warning lights showed up .
Any thoughts anyone ?

Throttle body or pedal potentiometer would be my guess. Are both of your items OEM parts or replacement parts do you know?

I have the middle cat out but that's been out for over a year and no probs until now if that would have any effect

Is there a hissing sound coming from under the intake manifold? If so the plenum belly pan plate screws have fallen to the V of the block and unmetered air is rushing in, hence no warning lights.

That will have no affect. Throttle system errors will throw a CEL, plenum belly pan gasket won't.

all of the stuff everyone else said!! air leaks, throttle body or pedal sensor. The early symptoms of all of this often don't trip the CEL light. if it doesn't happen again then take your time, it will get worse, you will have more idea whats causing it once it happens all the time or an error pops up.
