ye i am going, being to 4 at Anglia this year Friday night at the premier inn Saturday at the auction, happy with my 3200 but aim to have a good look at that one along with a few more, brother in law got his eye on that xk120 think it will be expensive tho, will post what the 3200 goes for

It is what it is! I still made a few K on that 3200 so a profit it profit just should have been more

the last 2 ive been to 3200,s have done well, especially 1 at the n.e.c. auction went for 14500, other one got to 10k but reserve not met, considering the nick of it if it was mine I would have snapped his hand of for 10k, rusty in places, headlights all misted up paintwork dull,

It does seem to need the right buyer at the right time.

3200 sold for 10,600 was a nice car the service history was plentiful and recent lot of work done at autoshield cam belt was in date, the only downside being picky the front grill had lost its shine and a lot of chipping to the front, interior was a1 young lad bought it think he will have a smile on his face

Seems like fair price based on mine.Maybe these are real world values being achieved here and with the GTS mentioned in the other thread.

he was only a young lad, the chap i was talking to who wanted it has been searching for a year for one he was only prepared to bid 10k , he said the search continues he wants a black one with the red interior and automatic, yes there is a 5per cent premium on top of the bid price
