Saw that but thought he must've entered that wrong too - they stopped making them in the first half of 2002 right?

I wonder if this is due to a couple of small endorsements from a few Classic Car mags in the last 3 months....

Could be , I'm still waiting for someone to post the Octane article!

I have it here! Word for word quote:

"The first decent Maserati after the Biturbo, the Giugiaro-styled 3200GT suffers vague steering, troubled transmissions and electrics - but it's fast, pretty, beautifully trimmed and cheap. Only buy the well-cared for; bound to appreciate soon."

Short I know but came under the heading 'The greatest classics to buy and own.'

If either of these fetch close to asking price its great news for all maserati owners. Its about time these cars start to fetch more realistic prices. Over the last few years they have been true bargains

Well the parts prices have gone up year on year...guess that makes a full collection of parts worth much more now.

They fetch that price all day long in Europe, even more...

For some reason the UK market is a little behind but It's now slowly catching up,as there ain't many good RHD 3200GT's left to choose from!

Obviously I've been watching the 32 on the market closely and have noted a 10-20% consistent rise in prices for good examples. IMO, these 2 are good examples but do they represent a concrete and permanent change in valuing increase by close to +80%........I doubt it. They are blips, just like phil getting his good example for close to -50% than last years good car price. Neither I think represent the new level for these cars.
Exactly a year ago (AC aside) somewhere between 10-12k got you a good one, now that is more like 12-14k with the odd exception........the price for these cars is going up, and rightly so but not by 80% a year. Lol

I think you are right Greg, there will always be ones on low for a quick sale and always be ones on high looking to "chance their arm". They are only worth what someone is prepared to pay and whether these two sell at their "optimistic" price remain to be seen.
