I'd try Andy250f first, he was saying only last week he has patterns for the 3200 and hhas mad up stainless units in the past...

Any reason you're going de-cat instead of 200 CPI sport cats? Given that you guys in the UK have annual MOT testing, you'll have to fit the original system for the check each year. The sport cats will give you similar power gains and should pass the MOT emissions test as well.

I had 200 CPI cats and an H centre section fabricated for my car and it resulted in a much more rev happy car. cost was less than half the price of the Larini sport cats.

hi, im looking mainly to remove the cats to remove the silencing effect the cats have, they tend to muffle the nice tone of the engine.

The sound of my car improved dramatically when I installed the 200 cell cats and deleted the middle section. It will regularly set off alarms in carparks and standing behind the car it has a lovely burble at idle. I am more than satisfied with the resulting note. Just something to consider...

If you're looking at Larini, then drop Noor a line at Performance Italia. I'm sure there's a deal to be done for the two sections together.

There is no Larini X-pipe for the 3200. The decat down pipes are mated to a centre free flow resonator.

just reverting back to this, i had the rear boxes cut out and replaced with pipes, still not loud enough, so was thinking about de-cat again, is the x pipe silencing?

will i be ok with de-cat, standard middle and rear straight pipes, i want it LOUD! but not silly, i removed the cats from my bmw with straight through pipes and it was silly loud.

You'll never be as loud as thw 4200; the turbos act as very efficient attenuators. I am going to delete the centre resonator from mine in the not too distant future but leaving the cats due to mot regulations. I'm going to try an x pipe configuration to try and get the frequency up a tad - I'm sure it'll be loud enough.

that is why i was thinking the de-cat option may be for the best, id imagine they are causing the biggest silencing rather than the centre box

Yes but there are at least two variations on the 4200 and the pre-cats to deal with as well. I'm going to be looking at tricked out manifolds at some point soon Catman and I'm sure this will also involve sports or false cats and no pre-cats :)

Exhaust started blowing on mine a few days ago and had a look underneath and after the centre section there is a large hole. I assume it is possible to remove the centre box and just replace with stainless steel pipes?

Got this done today , custom made front sections for £300, sounds amazing

I am interested to know what happens at mot time without cats fitted. I always thnk it'd be such a pain to refit then refit
