I have a book of old test reports....to be fair, the AC (and the 3200) didn't get get particularly great reviews when they were launched, so I don't think they'd do well 11-12 years on!

That said, there've actually been some quite positive threads and articles on Pistonheads in the past six months or so though, plus a couple of buyers guides in some of the classic magazines if I remember correctly. In these reviews they don't necessarily need to be technically good or handle massively well etc....thing like rarity and value come into play.

I suspect a modern magazine review would look more kindly on the car now. The relative cost now is so stupendously good, that flaws become character!

So who are we going to make the AC Ambassador, who will write to all the motoring press and TV, offering them them say an hour being driven in an AC and a coffee, or drinks in a nice pub. Owners would do the driving to get the best out of the car, so no Clarksons behind the wheel burning rubber?? Get enough coverage and the price could soar???
I propose either Dem, Rob or Pibbow as Ambassador.
