Agree with that Phil....DL has some of the best examples...Knowing Edward Lovett he does except rubbish...

Dont want to get into what price cars should be....

That is one i can safely say wont get that price for it.....

Loz, I am keeping close to the new showroom ad go to Didcot often and its on the way...As soon as it looks good to go we need to push the visit.......I'm sure they would love to have us....

And would it be too much to ask at this price for the correct wheels to be fitted back? Or are we talking 30K for a pre-facelift model?

It's a face-lift alright, but either wheels were options, though most sport the 7 spokes.

Yes I thought that....They obviously didn't like the 7 spoke and wnated the AC type wheel......SHame as it would look better on the later wheels...

I had the early 4200 style multispoke wheels as an 'upgrade' on my 3200GT.

I can imagine DL telling a customer that they are preferable to the newer style, but to me it just makes the car look older than it is.

Maybe I should put a set of 18" 4200 wheels on my GranSport and advertise it for 45K. :)

Once again this looks to be a beautiful example and very low mileage. Coming through a main dealer they may just get their price from someone wanting the best available. Lets face it this looks like a one year old car rather than a 6 year old car. Not everyone wants the hardcore Gransport. There are plenty out there who prefer a more refined ride. I guarantee Maserarti sell more Granturismo than Granturismo S.

For £30,000 they are getting a luxury Italian supercar that looks brand new and for little more than the price of a German hatchback

its just an opinion thing but for me a 4200 thats 30k is a little optimistic....nothing aparty from a GS can justify that price....

we had the very optimistic AC that never sold and now this......sorry 4200 owners not putting the car down just saying that price is a little optimisitic, just my thought.......

Pat, agree on the sheels the 7 spoke sort of bring the cars looks up to date.................Still 30k for a 4200...Hard to swalllow...
