Looks like this car needs a bit of TLC at least and although to looks nice not sure I would be spending that much on it but as above find another one.

The steering wheel is rough. It’s my pet hate. As it’s not expensive to fix and is your contact point with the car. If they don’t care about the wheel, what else don’t they care about?
you defo need to have a positive mental attitude, doubt very much that would stop me looking at a classic car
It’s the £17k thing. If it was £10k fair enough. I know it’s a manual. But it’s not even a Racing or Ghibli GT.

I own a 222SE , RHD in red , its a south african car and is rust free. Full History and well looked after, starts every morning without fail.
To give you an idea, there were only 37 RHD versions of the 222SE ever made . The press the Biturbo gets is the reason why people think this is not worth the money. but find me something that has that pedigree and low numbers for that price.....you simply cannot
