I recon you could get more than that if you only put 4 to 5k on her........It looks a great car for 19k mark...if an inspection pans out that is....Someone needs to snap it up if its a good one.....Tech cloth looks OK and if not to your liking you could get it re-trimmed...I think Matt has said in the past that would cost £1500 to 2k. It looks really good in the pictures.

Having looked at a few Tech Cloth cars I can say they always look so much brighter in Photos. I saw a Black and Silver one recently and it looked almost charcoal in the flesh.

History is not perfect, seen higher spec cars, 6 owners so needs to be cheap enough to sell. I like the colour though but full leather seems nicer to me than the tech although I don't mind the two tone colour combo.

Wrong time of year but might sell on price. I'm happy to wait a bit longer but might be interested at a fair bit less than £20k. I'll let this one ride for a bit I think. Sold my Boxster now so ready to purchase but in no rush.

There will always be a reason for these cars tp be cheaper than say the others.....but then if you get an inspection and it comes out OK then worth buying. These cars are now 10 hears old and it would surprise how many have not been serviced yearly.

Agree with your sentiments Andy...most cars have missed a service or two eap if the miles are low.

You can expect the cheaper cars to start to increase in price as spring and summer approach. ..and I doubt this car will go any lower than 19k unless he is desperate...and at that price a dealer will snap it up and sell it on with a warranty and a service but at 4k extra.

In fact it it was this time last year when a black GS was on ebay with a damaged seat and FOS Wheel at £18k...and that ended up at ADG for £24k

Agree Pete...How many over the last year or two have come up for sale only for an SMer saw the history was patchy........Yep that black one...I liked that.....Doesn't a member on here have it now and had it completely respray..

Not far wrong guys, dealers know these cars very well by now and if they pass any sort of inspection, pretty profitable to pass on and make a tidy profit.

They age well, can be looked after easily really and provided a recent clutch a few other things checked £ for £ nothing else out there can touch them

Yep agree Frank......IF you want a GS with impeccable history and low miles you need the think end of 30k these days....but you can still get a great car under 25k if you aren't fussed about a service every year and as you say passes an inspection...........The GS is a truly desirable Maserati that will be sought after for years to come. I am sure they will be regarded as the best collectable 4200 model....Suppose that is already showing in prices against the other models......The motoring press always hailed it as the car the 4200 should have always been....
