Sounds like a good plan but I'll have to give it a miss. Don't get back to the UK until the 4th.

I've got the next three Sundays free at the moment and there don't seem to be any shows or runs going on, so does anyone fancy a run out?

Selfishly, I was thinking we could meet at Elland Road park + ride in Leeds (just off the M621), do the tunnel run through the central motorway and then head up into the Dales for a spot of lunch somewhere.

Any takers?

It's the National Alfa Day this Sunday so that's out for me. The Sunday after its the Acaster Malbis breakfast meet. Could always go from there if anyone is interested.

Failing that the 24th is good for me.

Dear All, any event based on York, or Yorkshire, would be a good contrast to the Surrey and London events on the sister site. If this is still in planning please can I be kept informed. Based in Glossop, Derbyshire, I have an active 4200CC that enjoys the rolling open roads of the north but doesn't enjoy sitting nose-to-tail in southern congestion. Its owner also enjoys a good pub lunch...

Nice to see you on the forum Paul and still enjoying your Maserati. Hope all is well on your side of the hill.
Been quite a few northern meets the last few years at various events on both sides of the hill, keep tuned in!
Cheers,
Mike.

Didn't realise there were more posts here, I'm itching for a small convoy run out. I'm off work w/c 25th but car is going into JCT Leeds the Monday for service for a day or so but if anyone has any ideas for runs out about Loud don't want to let the Summer slip by without something

We had a good little meet up last year we should get it going and building up for us Yorkshire way folk

Haven't see you around much Dave hope No.1 is still giving you plenty of pleasure. Shame no Rotary Club Cannon Hall anymore last few years (due to H&S costs...)
There is the end of season rally BBQ at the Oil Can Cafe Saturday 10th September that is local for you (this is getting more and more popular) and for a larger event 'Cars in the Park' at Lotherton Hall Sunday 25th September which has a good forum turnout, just north of Leeds.

Hi, thanks for response - unfortunately in London on 10th so will miss oil can meet!
I know the past organisers of the Cannon Hall meet, they say H&S requirements set out by Barnsley council beggar belief, a shame as it was a decent day out.
Will try and make Cars in the Park, but if anything else this way keep us posted!
cheers
David

Indeed, started going there annually 20 years ago in my Stag.
Infact it was meeting you in your AC at Cannon Hall that set the seed towards my Maserati ownership!
