I don't think it's meant to be pretty Dem, it's meant to be striking and aggressive. If it hits the road like that, it'll certainly have road presence.

I have to agree with Benny, it looks a supercar which it has to do these days, I do like that and would have one given as a present anyday..!!

I love that Bora!!! Come on Maserati make that or something similar!!!

The first pic on the other hand looks boring. Reminds me of an Aston especially from the B pillar backwards. Vantage.

Had a chat with friendly local MD today and learned that:

The new Gransport will be a 2-seat mid-engined V6, the big question being whether Ferrari let Maserati use the Fezza double-clutch technology

The new Granturismo will be a 4-seat tourer.

Prices should be about aligned - 140kish for the GS, which I guess in 2 years time will round about where the GT will be.

It will be interesting to watch prices as the Ghibli is not silly neither is the V6 QP. Personally cannot see how the GS will be more than £90-100k.

Not sure. Instead they try to make a 2+2 front engined car do both jobs (which it won't!).

Agreed, Bob, it feels like a big hike from usual, "expected" Maserati price points. If you look at GTS prices now a well-spec'd one's coming in at, what, 120k or so? Add 10k for inflation, another 10k for the inevitable new-model price increase and I can see how the GTS will get there. Any 140k car's going to have to be seriously impressive, in any case.
