Around 26 mpg mixed long legged cruise, town pootling and the inevitable regular howling sport mode spurts.

Compare that to 20.1mpg light footed use on my wife's 2.2 diesel 4x4 the subject of a recent rant on another thread perhaps explains my loathing of diesels.

4.2 Gransport

Don't worry about it. Just delight in the multifaceted experience.

I get 5km per litre on commute driving (think this is 15mpg), I tend to hit sport and manual which explains this outcome. On freeway just in auto I get 15km/l or 19 mpg.....

I average 18-19 mpg overall for my GTSport MC-Auto (Mixture of suburban and NSL but very little motorway stuff), but I did average 28 MPG on a Sevenoaks - Manchester - Sevenoaks trip, including a total of about an hour's nose-to-tail crawling on the outskirts of Manchester, which kind of amazed me.

Taking into account the overall driving experience, I'm pretty happy with the fuel consumption (certainly beats the 13-14 mpg I used to get from my previous C6 RS6 for the same type of driving mix).

Think my car averages around 12-14mpg. But almost 8 months into ownership the novelty of driving it everywhere at 7,000 rpm has still not worn off!

It was better than my Evoque.
So either a) I drove like a granny and my Evoque is a guzzler
b) It was representative of normal driving and my evoque has a hole in the fuel tank.

I think its a

Edit - if you have to worry about MPG it might not be the car for you , or your needs.
Wait till you send it in for a routine service and two tyres need changing and the front brake discs and pads.. In smiles per mile its the best car out there.
