Yeti, that looks like a great car for very reasonable money. If I didn't already have one (and I confess a difficulty with black cars, too hard to keep looking good) I'd bite your hand off.

Are you getting the four-seat Strad? I do actually *need* one of them. I used to think I only wanted one, but it turns out that I was wrong.

As to why I am selling privately, it's partly due to trade in, although GP have offered me almost what I am asking privately, it's also so that someone on here can get the benefit of a superb car. It's served me well, done some great continetal tours and wouldn;t be selling it all if the new Strad hadn't taken me. I looked at the original 2 seat version but it just didn't do it for me, but the new one with 4 seats is a peach.

What a choice. *swoon* What colour are you going for, Yeti? My current preference is lava something-or-other. Stellar.

I've got Tridents on mine. Typically the 4.7 Auto has Tridents, the 4.7 MC Neptunes and the 4.2 had the Birdcages (20'') or those awful 19" wheels.

Tell us more about the Stradale.

Nice Bike range too Yeti. I have a Monster s4r and used to have a 916 Strada too but she went in the summer after my wife refused to let me bring her into the house! (bike into house, not wife). Enjoy the Strad when it arrives, it's a dream car for many on here, myself included. If you could keep it for around 2 years and then offer it to me for less than trade value, i'd be forever grateful.....

Just to let you all know the Stradale deal fell through at the last minute. All a bit complicated but without going into detail, it just didn't feel right. No fault of James at GP though, he was a gent throughout.

I'm sure you know there is a black 4 seat Strad at Bowkers and it looks fantastic. I was over there yesterday and it really is a peach. Not silly money either. Good luck with your search.

Is that one of the old Strads or the new 4 seater? It's the new one I am after.

It's one of the old style with the twin bonnet vents. Black/black with yellow brake calipers and stitching. I'm not usually a fan of black/black but that one is really nice.
