Think it is actually beige - nicer than avorio to my eye.

Nice car but I would guess it would trade at £16k so a long way to go for a deal.

It's bucking the market by a couple of K, but it looks in very good fettle and if the history is perfect, has a good clutch and brakes and checks out after an inspection, it could be one for Rossyl to consider?

Milage wouldnt bother me. I reckon my GS will have 50k on it come the end of this year....bought it to use it and if its looked after, I dont think numbers on the dash are the be all end all.

Depends whether you're hoping to hold a resale value though Woody. There is a mileage trigger, and when you pass it, the values fall.. quickly. Don't disagree with you, but as per the car mentioned above, there are others with less mileage that would catch my attention before the one linked to simply because of the mileage. Not saying it would sway me against a worn clutch, but it would catch my eye nonetheless.

Does look like a descent motor. Mileage not too bad and priced accordingly.

One to seriously consider.

It's on Autotrader at 21k

There are a number of face lift for sale and most are slightly cheaper with the same or less miles....Most say recent new clurch as well...

I like this one...and from specialist

The blue for me is a couple of K too much......But you never know if you went to see it it could be worth it......It is the only one for sale in that colour as most are grey.

Yep, I agree. I do think that when you look at GSs that have sold, the leggy ones were still getting £20k+ when the lowe milage ones were getting high £20k's. Work out the price difference per mile, and by my logic, the cheapest pernce per mile usage of a GS (or any car, for that matter) is to actually use it.

They're definitely milage sensitive though, which is good and bad. Bad as a seller.....but as a buyer, if you're not bothered and find one thats looked after, you're in.

Hi All,

Thanks for thinking of me guys wth regard to the car. A 2007 would be great - but I'm really looking for a car with 20-30k miles ideally. There seems to be a drop in re-sale price at 40k, and a noticeable drop past 50k on these cars. My reasons for buying the Maser is to get a "real" sports car before me and the other half start a family, so re-sale value is a consideration when purchasing as I only plan on keeping the car for 18-24 months.

Someone mentioned that there were further changes to the car in 2005 (I don't mean the 2004 exterior facelift) but mechanical changes in 2005? Anyone know anything about that.

I remain completely undecided on colour combo's. I'm hopefully heading to Nuvola on Sunday to have a look at what they've got in stock - mainly to have a look at the colours. Red and blue interiors are almost instant "no's". Black interior not a fan of either. That Argento with Tan at Nuvola looks nice, but with 51k on the clock I think it's a bit pricey.

I'm so desperately trying to keep a level head with buying a 4200. I made a (small) mistake in buying the first car i looked at with my current car, and don't want to make the same mistake again!

Cheers
