transmission

It does have an automatic in it with the paddle shifters. I appreciate the quick responses. i should have said that it is not a standard.

Its still got a clutch, its an automated hydraulic manual system and is standard. There are a few tradition stick shift manuals around but not many.

It's a main dealer or specialist job. The clutch can be done by any garage but the clutch has to be balanced hence why only a main dealer or specialist can do it.

Spoken to a couple of Indies re this over the years , and to be perfectly frank they dont bother to balance the clutch plate , reason being that factory spec is very good and negates the need , saying that most dealers and indies wont admit to not balancing as its all part of the gobbledy **** that quantifies the pricing ,

Yes the clutch can be done yourself or at any Tom Dick or Harry's garage , but ............................. it will need to be calibrated for set up once installed , various bits checked that need the diag like the F1 sensor is working properly etc pis and kis settings etc , so unless you want to go through the rigamarole of taking it to and indie/dealer aftrewards (possibly on a trailer ) its pretty pointless having a crack at it on the cheap so to speak
