Sorry not seen it. Apart from stitching and the grill it's the same as my old car.

Remember to haggle - when I sold mine, red and a manual gearbox did not help.

Yes I would certainly haggle the price down and check what mileage the clutch was done at in 2009. Price I would think should be around the £12-£13K ideally. Take it for a drive, those Bridgestones are a really hard tyre and not considered the best option for this kind of car.
You could use such as Shiltech over near Leicester, otherwise check on the thread: Independent Maserati Specialists, put it in search if you can't locate it quickly.

Then there is this one: http://www.sportsmaserati.co.uk/sho...ambiocorsa-4200-Only-Done-12-000-Miles-03-car!

Seen this advertised and thought it would of gone by now, seems a good price for a dealer though may be it being a manual is not counting in its favour.

That looks a very lovely 4200......As we know manual are worth around 1/2k less than a CC but I still think thats a 14k car.....Non facr lifts are u for 12/13k and this is a face lift....

For a car thats covered 42 500 miles it appears to be in stunning condition , and i mean stunning its been prepped very very well , new discs and pads aswell , definately a £13 500 price range for quality like that , i wojuldn't have the balls to bid any lower with a car thats in mint condition , obviously needs checking tho the camera can lie sometimes

Agree Loz...It must be worth 13/14k as a face lift car..............thats a load of car for the money........If its that good with those miles even at 15k it's not over priced....

I wish I had the garage space to have a 4200 and a 3200 for limited summer use. Could have just kept the old ones!

Thanks guys for all the comments; however nobody has answered my question.
Has someone seen the car, or is there an independent contact nearby that could give it the once over?
Many thanks one and all.
BTW, never lost the itch, just circumstances didn't run in my favour.
Red with black interior and a manual; does seem familiar doesn't it?

Personally, I didn't like it; the one I drove had a heavy clutch and a notchy 1st-2nd gear change. Up to that point I was always a manual kind of guy but as soon as I tried the CC I was convinced it was the way forward. I still am. Obviously, others will disagree.

Morning Ian , yeah the notchy gearchange is a trait of the gearbox being a robotized gear box coupled to a manual change via linkages and cables , they ten d to wear/stretch with use, easily remedied by a regular adjustment to a free and easy change but needs to be done around every 3000 -6000 miles to keep it at its optimum , but like you i see the cc change a whole new and better driving experience once mastered , regardless of what Clarkson says , i'll always have atleast one cc in my stable climate allowing
