Presumably from recent floods; PDQ anyway. Is it an A/C or just on 4200 wheels?

The interior is all the same on ACs, black with red piping as is that exterior colour not an AC colour......

I do like the 4200 wheels on the 3200

I think those are AC wheels, just the same as our AC in style, not sure about the colour though, they look very close.

Really wishing I hadn't seen this post....
Judging by the amount of time 3200's spend with a swimming pool in the boot, a bit of soggy carpet won't be a problem, I think this could be a steal, it wouldn't be difficult to whip the carpet out and clean/ dry it properly. Even if the seats have turned in to sponges I bet replacements would be easy enough to sort.
Anyone recognise the car?

IMO, you are right Paco, it could be a real steal. Just depends how brave you are!

It's a decent price at the minute, even if you had to buy all new carpets..?? If it goes much higher then it would start to lose it's recoverable appeal. It's only done 42K so for the year that's really good. Worth a punt at current money, it needs to be a runner.

Upto 5k id say its alright but not more.....

One with similar miles would be 10k then take away the damage and cat?? Worth 7k??

I think the main issues are going to be electrics and possible smell contamination. If the water has had sewerage in it, then the carpets and possibly seats could be wasted. You would need to examine the interior to see where the fluids got to, exterior is not that bad a problem.

Looks like a nice car, guess it depends on the history, £15k POV is a bit optimisitic.

However, it's not what they think it's worth, it's how much someone is willing to pay that matters and for a 3200, £3300 sounds about right!

The joy of guaranteed value insurance policies I guess, have you seen the E type jag on there with a POV of £60k? For a 2+2? Don't think so.
Assuming it isn't full of sewage and doesn't smell I'd agree at 5k it makes some sense, any more and I'd rather buy the one on GS wheels with no marker and lower miles!

Paco,
I don't know mate, the "E" type brings really high money now, so £60K might be in the right ball park, for a tip top machine.
Cheers
