Does look cheap for someone who knows what they are doing, with the right contacts may prove to be a find and at 2.5K someone will take a chance on it and could end up with a great car.

On the other hand could be a money pit.

If it's from Jersey the chances are it will be rotten due to the salt air. I know this from comments I have overheard at Meridien about the subject of Jersey imports most low milage but rusty.
