I've decided that it's time to sell my beloved Gransport. It's my only car and I am now doing too many miles at the moment and can't justify the fuel costs any longer, only reason. It's done 46k miles and has a FSH. It was last serviced at specialist in Feb. No issues and is going to Autoshield Maserati before I sell for a check so will need only TLC for 9 months. I'm after 26k and am willing to listen to sensible offers. Give me a call on 07734 394 699 if you're interested.

Cheers
Richard

The advert can now be found on Pistonheads:

Pictures aren't the best but it's a dull day and starting to rain.

Still not sold Richard...suprised at that price.

Please take this as constructive but your pics don't do the car justice as I'm sure it's great....Maybe some brighter pics may do it.

Richard,

Best of luck with the sale.

I've been almost obsessively watching the GS market for a while now and I would say that the milage is the biggest influnce on price, even more so than age. To give you an idea, here is what has been on the market of late with comparable milage:,

2005 49.5k, Rosso Mondiale, at a dealer for £27k
2005 42k, Rosso mondal,at a dealer for £26.5k
2005 41k Grigio Touring, at a dealer for £27k
2005 68k, Med Blue, private sale, £23k (been for sale on and off for just over a YEAR now!)
2005 35k, Nero Carbonio, private, £26.5k

Those are from as far back a last year, so prices havent moved much! If you can wait, you dont seem far off with the price, but if you want to shift it, you can see the competition you're up against. Purely my opinion as someone currently in the market - I would look at a trade car over a private car if the difference was only £500-1k and look to negotiate, but if it was £2-3k, private would be worth a look, partiucularly if it is enthusiast owned.

As I learned with my last car, if you're in no rush to sell, I'm sure a buyer will come along at some point....sit tight :)

All the best
Woody

Oh yeah, and what Andy said too. My car sold two days after I changed the pics from dull/rainy ones out the front of my house, to sunny ones parked up on some grass. A picture paints a thousand words and all that....

Get lots on the advert as well, including engine, inside front and back and as many angles as possible. If you get time take it to a nice location to..show you are proud of your car. It will work.

Good advice there Woody re buying/negotiating, and with whom! Yup, some prices seem quite stable, plus most don't have to sell within a small window of opportunity.

Good luck with your sale.

Hi Richard, much much better picks, but i would have put on a few more at least 6 or 8 , and for a few quid would have put on the emblems on the rear quarter posts , but hey the next owner can do that , we all buy these cars pay a fortune for them and then go and spend whole lot more personalizing them , do hope she goes soon for you , makes for a much better ownership feeling

regards loz

Also Rich from your pics the tech cloth looks good. If you have the cloth then thats the only colour to go for.

Totally agree. I'm enerally not a fan of tech, but on Gririo Touring it does look right!

I'd agree with Loz too - more pics! As a buyer (and a recent seller), pics sell cars!

Best of luck with the sale.
