Viewed this yesterday - looked a little tired imho, also clutch last replaced at 25000 miles.
Drove fairly well, not having driven one before the accelerator seemed REALLY light, got used to it though, but not sure if it was 'right'

Reasonable condition, but a bit overpriced (Condition and clutch likely required soon) I think, though think there was negotiation room.

Yes, have a look...One of the best for and looks stunning in red. Always has the same ride height as a Gransport......

Hard to be specific on clutch life on the manual 4200. Mine was on the factory clutch when I sold it at nearly 50k miles.

sorry should have been more clear, I mostly went to view it to actually drive one, though I was prepared to like it, but came away a bit disappointed - not by the way it drove, but the condition.

The fact they told me that manual was the one to go for, and that the Maserati 'tiptronic' gearboxes were a disaster made me smile I must say.

It's all personal, most buyers bought CC but Maserati lost lots of sales by not having a proper auto which was fixed with the next generation. I had a manual and loved it having always hated CC and I've driven a fair few. Get what suits you.

I totally take your point, and was not suggesting CC was better than manual (I liked the manual box in this one) more intrigued by the fact that firstly they called Cambio Corsa tiptronic which it isn't, and secondly said it was a disaster - in my opinion trying to get someone who had not done any research to plump for the one they are selling.
