An e92 M3 was my other alternative when buying the 4200 - similar power, no doubt somewhat better round corners, but without as much soul. Occasionally I wonder about the decision when the Mas is cold and feeling twitchy - generally in a bad mood as it sometimes gets - but overall I chose the far cooler car. People don't stop and look as a BMW drives past do they...
