Potentially yes if there is chassis damage. For new cars not so much of a problem as the replacement chassis cost in a valuable car makes the repairl economically viable. With used values this is less certain, the McClaren F1 is an exception as its so rare Hopefully Alfa have made it modular...

Quick update Car was in for a service and so I asked the engineers to look at the head / unit and amp New amp connected....all well, so it looks like a the amp has gone Rather than bend over and take it like a man I'm going to try and get the amp fixed, local ICE place in Oxford do a repair...
