Advice needed on pricing for private sale

Sadly I may have to put my GS up for sale, this is not meant as an advert.

I'm not sure how to price it for a sale, I'm in no rush to sell but head says its time to buy a track toy.

2007 GS Black with full leather, full service book and all stamps, looked after by DL since I've owned it, bought from Nareman.

26K miles, immaculate in and out.

Only negative I can think of is that its on the original clutch, last inspection at 24.5 K said clutch at 59%.

I'd be really grateful from the forum on some idea on how to price for a sale

Cheers

I would guess around £25k, I've seen similar cars prices higher but I'm not sure they actually get the asking price

Buyers like the security (real or perceived) of buying from a dealer, so you'll need to price it at least £2 or £3k lower than a similar car from a specialist. The above suggestion of around £25k seems reasonable.

I would be going £26995 and see how it goes....It's a low miles car that some dealers would tr and sell for 30k I would say looking at what's for sale but as a private sale and to get some hits £26995....You can always come down if you need to........

Nope.....just saves me a special trip..........ferry and petrol alone......£350..........so in effect I get a discount by changing early and have that out of way when I change it next year

I would run it another 10k if it were me.

I think Loz ran his 10k past 100% and it was just starting to slip.

Best getting it out of way Matt.........plus anyone buying it next year with a clutch that worn would automatically discount getting a new one......plus the hassle of getting it across the water if it failed in meantime....colossal
