i had the battery changed at halfords about a year and a half ago..i guess the battery they fitted was fine but it was my fault in not disconnecting it before travelling

Thank you Felonious…I do have RAC membership and i think it covers breakdown at the place its parked too…i didn't know i could just contact them and ask them to replace the battery though! I will do that first thing in the morning :)

The people in Poole have recommended getting the engine sorted and the parking sensor…i don;t know if its best to do that from hr owen then as they are saying i shouldn't drive the car incase i damage the engine even more.
