High mileage but cheap 2002 4200 CC For Sale

Ok, I've found a replacement finally, and it's a nice deal but still over my intended budget :) I could do with selling one of my cars soonish now and the wife prefers this one goes, so about £8200 buys it.. Lot nicer than most the project ones that crop up, but high miles of course.

High mileage but cheap 2002 4200 CC For Sale

Bit of interest but nothing firm yet, the car I was looking at wasn't right in the end anyway so haven't been in a rush, however something else may of cropped up so now I'd like to ideally sell this month otherwise I've got to ask a trader friend to help sell it as I've no interest in getting...

High mileage but cheap 2002 4200 CC For Sale

Yes, I was pretty drunk, saw it pop up on the forum and bought it, just fancied seeing how I got on with a proper paddle shift car, no regrets been a lot of fun :) Plan was to keep a year or two and go for a GS, but in all honesty the wishbone fiasco has unnerved me a bit, so next Maserati will...

High mileage but cheap 2002 4200 CC For Sale

Hi After a couple of years of fun and games have decided to move onto my next toy, not a Maserati but I'll be coming back to this soon enough as i still fancy a Granturismo at some point soon (probably later this year I think). Sorry for a pretty drab and wordy description, this isn't something...

    Warning!

Sorry to go slightly off topic, but have the granturismo or quattroportes suffered anything along these lines with the wishbones? I'm looking to have a change in the summer maybe and while my mechanic suggests (strongly!) I go a different marque after all the drama, I do rather like these so...

    CDC Disappeared?

Thanks all, not sure what fixed it but a combination of unplugging a couple of times and before that another battery reset seems to have cured it. Management light turned out to be maf sensor, ordered another one and looks very easy to fit so that's a result. Thanks again

    CDC Disappeared?

Thanks for the advice. Ill check this all out. The cable into the back of the loudlink is fine, ive unplugged and checked its firm connection etc, I guess I may need to strip the centre rest down again though as I seem to recall I originally had to plug the cable into the back of the cd / nav...

    CDC Disappeared?

Hi All Was wondering if anyone had any clues on this one. Just pulled my 4200 out of storage (First time since about november), been on trickle and had a service etc and an oil leak fixed so all seems well. However, ive got a bluetooth loudlink system, and unless im being very stupid...

    Warning!

Hi Rex - turned out a month or so back my other front lower was cracked too so changed it as well. 4200 on about 110k now! (Yes very big miles, but still shouldn't be happening really) Thanks Si

    Warning!

That said apparently there's a slight design flaw in the assembly in general as to remove the upper arms you have to lower the sub frame to actually get at the relevant bolt as its too close to chassis to get at it with any tools , my mechanic was pretty baffled by that one!

    Warning!

It's not the wrong part - the new design one I bought is already been fitted and went on perfectly

    Warning!

I'm not sure, I asked for a pair and they only had one on shelf - the older style, so I took that and another was supposed to come from Italy but when it arrived was the newer style so had to pay another 360 roughly to make up the difference on the original invoice. So I 'believe' these are from...
