Help - can't get into my car....

OK, getting the car back from Joe Macari tomorrow. They claim nothing has drained it and it is down to the short mileage trips I do. I'm not convinced as on the Friday before the Sunday when it was flat I did a round trip of 200 miles. I will get a charger of some kind and will Google CTEK...

Help - can't get into my car....

If it is the tracker will it be covered under warranty? From memory it is NavTrak and it came with the car when I bought it from Maranello.

The RAC bloke said that the battery seemed OK but that something is draining it. It's off to Joe Macari tomorrow so let's see what they find.

Help - can't get into my car....

OK, firstly I didn't realise the door handle had two sections to it so I managed to get in just as the RAC (sent by Maserati assistance) turned up. As suspected the car has a flat battery and was only showing 6 volts. The guy connected his pack and the car started. I'm not sure if he is...

Help - can't get into my car....

I'm pretty sure it's not the key fobs. Now when I press either key to open the indicators flash (dimly I thought) but there is no beep. The doors do not go green and I cannot get in the car, even with the using the key in the manual lock. I'll call Maserati assist.

Help - can't get into my car....

OK, came to the car just now, pressed the key fob to open the car, the alarm did the usual two beeps but the light on the door didn't go green and I can't get in. I pressed lock and it beeped once again as it usually does. Now, with either key, nothing happens. I presume it is the...

Just a quick post to say thank you for the heads up on letting the ignition lights go out before starting. Having adopted this process the difference in how smooth the clutch operates is huge. Thanks muchly!! :thumb3:

3 weeks in to my 2013 Granturismo Sport

I'm still not 100% sure about the plate. I've had it for a while and was waiting for something a bit 'wow' to put it on. This certainly fits the bill I suppose. I know private plates are subjective but personally I'm a fan, even if they are used so as not to age a car, and so far this is...

Help - stranded as fuel filler flap won't open!

OK, it's all fixed now. The mechanism itself was sticking and just as dickygrace suggested above the second bout of pushing teh flap in seemed to release it. The mechanism looks a little grubby so some WD40 has been applied and it now works every time. Once again, thanks for your help guys :-)

Help - stranded as fuel filler flap won't open!

OK, found the cable and opened the flap. All fueled up now but the proper method via the dash button is definitely not working. Having only had the car a week I'll get onto Maranello first thing Monday as I'm away to Europe in it on Friday. Once again, thanks for your prompt responses.

Advice needed on pre-existing fault on vehicle

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but all these issues should have been checked pre-purchase. We've all done it, heart rules the head. My old 996 Turbo cost me £12k in 2 years because I didn't get it inspected before I splashed out. The dealer, whilst morally liable, can pretty...

Well, it's been a while since I posted here but as you'll see in the Newbie section I should pick up my 2013 Granturismo Sport MC Shift on Friday. Bought from Maranello, the common as muck Sofisticato Blue with Bianco. Can't bloody wait!

Newbie picking up a 2013 Granturismo Sport this week

Cheers guys, many thanks. Just one more question, I have seen 2013 models with a small carbon fibre rear lip spoiler. Any idea where I'd get one? Did I see somebody on here buy a decent universal one that fitted? It'd have to be impeccable quality for me to consider it...
