A draggy doesnt give me the data from the other cars though? the only data I have for the other cars is their analogue speedo readings... surely it would be best to compare like for like?
so I had a couple of performance mods done on my db9 and could instantly feel the increase in shove which was pretty dramatic but wanted to to compare how my car now went compared to other v12 derivatives... I know i could of dyno'd before and after but all you get from that is numbers which...
ah cool thanks, might aswell use it as an excuse to go on a lil holibob to germany to pick them up then.
also they are Aston martin and billstien which are germany so at some point surely VAT was paid in both countries??
Anyone got any experience on this and know the rules/what I'm gonna get stung??
Seen a set of dbs dampers for my db9 in Germany from a private seller... Wants 1000e for them which is a good price.
Thanks for any help
Ha ha nailed it.
Yeah its awesome... at the moment it doesnt feel as quick or have the sound and drama that the 4200 gave with the tubi and gear changes kicking you in the back like a mule... but I know it's actually quicker and I will get the sound back once I get the exhaust sorted.
I will...
I was thinking of getting a 4.7 Grantourismo after my 4200 but in the end bought a DB9 for exactly that reason. Watching Mike at BR crush trolls questioning the R&D when he was actually on the development team for the engine at Aston is quite amusing too.
I go out in the winter just make sure its rained before hand and dryed off.
Re that... unless his bonnet is wet all the time or submerged he'd be wasting his time as the process needs a constant medium
bought my 3200 and 4200 without driving first. just new i wanted one. test drove a db9 and was a bit disappointed but bought one anyway cause the bits i don't like can be ironed out :D
apparently we have a 50bn black hole that we are going to have to pay higher taxes to fill because of the mini budget right??
...but the budget was scrapped and never happened, why do we still have a hole?
narrowly missed out on this... if my signal hadn't **** out on me... went for £33200 inc fees
