It's an '02 4200 so different looking knobs?

Hi guys I've searched the forum and am struggling for info but does anyone know how to remove/inspect the fan speed knob on the climate control panel? Is it just a case of pulling it off does anyone know? I get zero 'click click' resistance when turning it now - it still works and cycles...

Ouch!! I hope so too!!! 2kGBP is about $4,300AUD so let's hope it's not that!! From what I can gather the pump seems the obvious candidate as I can't select any gears and there is no priming on either key or door opening so let's work on that for now ha ha ha!! Cheers G

Hi guys and thanks for all your advice as always!! My car will be taken to my indie on Friday so he'll have time to read the codes and do whatever he has to do. Then I might have to source the pump myself and get it to him so I'm anticipating a good couple of weeks off the road unfortunately...

Catman Nope no primng at all via the remote when unlocking or when opening the door either. Is it easy to check voltage to it? I had a new air con compressor fitted last week - that shouldn't have interfered at all should it? It drove fine for a few days afterwards until yesterday's dramas! G
