I’ve enjoyed my GTS for several years now without performing any sort of modification beyond corrosion protection. For the last while, I was very tempted to sell it and came close at one point, but remembered regretting the sale of my QP GT S so decided to keep the GTS.
I dont do that many miles at all, I go to the odd car event and a coffee every month, perhaps covering no more than 1,000 a year. When I get into the car, I really want it to be a sense of occassion and take it up to 11 within reasonable means. A lot of that excitement for me comes from the perception that I drive something special even if its not. For this reason, I know its marmite with some folk but I plan on making the following mods which I know will give me the extra sense of Occassion if not pass a few hours on the odd weekend. Here’s the plan but like I said all reversible to oem.
Short Term:

Short Term:
- Fit Larini Sports Center (H Pipe)
- Replace alloy centre caps
- Replace side emblems
- Apply custom Maserati sunstrip
- Apply limited number of GT4-like decals eg Pirelli, Bilstein, Brembo.
- Apply new GT2-like tricolore strips to side skirts
- Add additional carbon trim on interior panels not carbon from factory (ensuring weave is consistent)
- Perhaps add a FD or TMC Motorsport tuning module (undecided on this)
- Change neptune alloy color to Porsche arum gold or similar bronze to 458 speciale rim color.
- Fit custom carbon/alcantara wheel with tricolore racing stripes.
- Continue googling for oem GT carbon diffuser and side skirts. Talk about rare!!!
