Yeah true she did say that, but what is being found out now (well it's been known for a while) is that a "bad deal" is exactly that....A bad deal is having a no deal. This is why our MP's, politicians, economists etc and people are at odds on a daily basis. This is why we are in a polarised mess bud. Some People say WTO won't affect them, while for others it will and the economics of WTO just won't cut the mustard for them on a personal level....Here the MP's, the cabinet and the opposition are asking that very question about WTO trade and who in our society will be vulnerable or most affected by leaving on those terms....
It is exactly what she/MP's are trying to do and by working to a mutually beneficial solution (i.e. the least damaging to people's pockets and our country). A damage limitation exercise for people/country. Whatever deal we leave with is less than what we already have, hence tabling a motion to get "No Deal" off the table, but people are calling that remaining and not apparently respecting the will of the people. Then you've got people from all spheres on both sides of the vote saying: hang on this isn't what I voted for.... All the while the E.U is waiting for us to make a decision on what flavour of leaving we want.................. Behind Leave Door 1=?, Behind Leave door 2=?, Behind Leave Door 3=? and Bully's special prize (mooooooo) is.....................................Who Knows?
Then you've got British/European Citizens and families who have been here for decades and living here legally and of course Brit families living/ working abroad legally in limbo for the last 2.5 years not knowing where they stand. This is just the beginning of it as we have yet to negotiate the trade deals........ Hope that is helpful.
