The whole NIT being checked or just the drive?
In any event, I'd really appreciate your findings, Phil.
It hasn't happened since touring France back in June and I've a feeling that it only occurs on my 2007/8 GT after a duration of about three hours. Im pretty confident that it's temperature related since it happens on hot days. It could be high temp, but I'm thinking that the air con is working hard and probably ducts near it, sub cooling and exacerbating a marginal track/joint on a board.
It's hugely distracting when driving when it starts. Nothing you can do until it finally reboots fully.
I've about three items on the snag list remaining, all fixable plus a few panel spray job (b*****y French key jobs, a French scrape on the rear bumper and the usual nose chips) and I'm debaging endlessly whether I swap her for a newer model or become married to this and invest in her as my long term keeper.
The market is working against me though, not one Blu Mediterane on tne market. Not bothered whether it's a 4.2, 4.7, or S, ain't bothered about MC dah did dah, just a nice blue GT. I like my discrete wheels with just the hint of the Trident too. So she's got a lot going for her and she's been thoroughly scrubbed at Dicks.
BUT, the NIT pi$$es me off, being a 2008, there's no Bluetooth or USB, trivial I know when I hardly ever switch on the sound.
If I could fix the reboot jssue I'd be happy
