Isn't Maldonado from Peru or Venezuela or somewhere like that? I think he won one the other year.
I can't think of any other drivers from either country. Although to be fair my GP knowledge goes back about as far as Ayton Senna.

And there is another well as soon as Mr Capes gets off the fence and picks which country Maldonado comes from ;)

Peru I'd guess is too mountainous to have many race tracks, so I'll go with Venezuela.
And every Peruvian I've ever met, their surname was Sanchez! lol! Granted I've only ever met 3 Peruvians (on separate occasions).

Can't fault your logic, you have chosen wisely.

So that is two down with one to go

Fair enough.

As for Chris Tarrant. Having met him once I can categorically confirm you are not.
Too short, and not enough hair! lol!

Danny Hulme , where was he from?

The answer is probably Rhodesia or something, in the world of motorcyclinv there was a few Rhodesian racers, so cars is no different.

Sorry, just read the question again, races not championships!

So we have Peru and The Netherlands, and we need a third unique race winner...has a Japanese man ever won a race?

So you did, so looks like it's your go

The country & driver you were missing was Poland - Robert Kubica

Blimey! How'd we not get him!

Here's one that my F1 geek mate set me and I didn't get it at all.
But it makes for a good question.

Most people think that the Nurburgring is the longest F1 circuit ever raced. It's not. Not by a long chalk.
Most people also think Monaco is the shortest. Again it's not.

What is the longest F1 circuit ever raced?
And which is the shortest F1 circuit ever raced?

I think the longest circuit is Pescara Italy and shortest could be one of the shorter street circuits maybe Long Beach. The only other short circuit I know of is Zeltweg Austria which is an airfield circuit used by the DTM championship, not sure if the F1 has been held there
