Stevo and I are in some of the reserved parking on the right as you come in towards the reception. There are 5 spaces in total so first come first served. I have asked them to be kept for Tridents.

Very kind offer, Newton, but my tyres nearly need replacing anyway, so I'd figured they can get trashed at Brunty and then replaced next week.

Car cleaned, wheels changed for track set, fuelled with the finest petrol Shell can supply and various bits already in the boot. :)

Road trip planning assistance given to my daughter, who is off driving with her mates through Sweden and Norway shortly, but has reappeared home briefly to pick up her birthday presents for this weekend.

Btw, I'm told calling it 'Brunty' is 'rah' - a bad thing apparently. It's how the kids at university with parents who drive exotic cars speak... Riiiiight....

So - <1940bbc voice> all set for our jolly tomorrow at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground; I trust all of the gang staying with Stiffy and Binky at Hinckley Hall have a super evening, with the usual 18 course light supper and just a couple of scoops before bed </1940bbc voice>

Stay safe you lot...watch out for flying Nissans and oil slicks from the TVRs and I do hope that tape saves face for you all....but most of have a b l o d d y good time and raise heaps of ££££££.

Just got back - what a selection of fantastic cars! Many thanks to the owner of the gorgeous and 'slightly more than epic' dark blue QPV 'E4 ADG' who took me for a very rapid spin on the track this morning, we had a very short conversation but I picked up enough to know that I really do want (need) one of these machines in my life. Likewise many thanks to the owner of the other QPV (Drew..?) who gave me some great advice and encouragement.

Just about to fettle the photos I took of all the Masers, will start loading them up later ;o)

Now THAT was the dog's cobblers. A bloody good day indeed. It was great to see everyone for a day of tyre-shredding fun and frolics. Managed to get home by 6 and with an average mpg of 12.1 since I reset it late this morning.

MAF, sorry about your clutch, mate. Hopefully the triumph of coming second in the rev off (and first amongst Masers) more than compensated.
