That sounds like a Guinness record for the cheapest working v12 Ferrari!

Paid £28k for my manual 95 reg 456 in 09. Held it till my daughter was born 5yrs later.
Certainly was gave me no issues at all and on the day a few far more expensive Ferrari's failed on track attempting the record.
Sold to Tim Walker of Walkersport Ferrari so I know it was a good car and then bought a 360 Modena F1.

That looks lovely. Dread to think of the running cost for a V12 Ferrari though.
A good mate had a GTC4 V12, and kept it for about 3 years. It was his daily and he did a lot of local miles in short trips, and when he sold it it had about 18k. He checked the trip meter before it went, and found that it had never been reset. It showed his average mpg throughout his ownership was 6.2! He was somewhat surprised.

that makes my 13.1 seem favourable.

This, exactly this. You could get an excellent late-model spec for that budget, with or without roof. The challenge you'd have would be finding one in the spec you want. You would need to be patient. Where you live you have access to some good main and indie dealers as well.

Get yourself a Huracan…..it’s not a V12 but also doesn’t have those silly doors you hate

Decent size too

For half that money you could have a low mileage 2019 Aston Martin Rapide S.
  • V12 ✔️
  • Big Aston (four doors 2+2) ✔️
  • Hatchback ✔️
  • £75,000 left over to spend on other things. ✔️

F12 or a Vanquish
I think this is the ultimate shortlist to spend all the budget. There are some cracking suggestions above though which would provide much the same for half the budget. I am biased on Vanquish, patriotic choice perhaps..

I don’t think that would replace the Strad, but if I kept the Strad I would I consider a Rapide S to replace my Jaguar XJ

If you could live with a 6.75L V8, then a Bentley Continental T is a fine bit of kit.

If I bought a Bentley of any description (other than a vintage one) my wife would divorce me and then I wouldn’t be able to afford to keep it !
