The good morning thread

These darn cars are full of safety and driving assist features. There is a camera that looks through the screen that controls some of these and they need calibration after a windscreen change.

Personally I would rather not have the features !! but am stuck with them and without calibration the dash it lit up like a Maserati needing a wheel bearing o_O
Well that was a wasted morning - good job I could work from the waiting room.

So calibration failed, Jaguar are saying they will have to have the car back to remove and refit the windscreen and try again.

What a complete pain in the proverbial

Glad you are Ok my friend. Scary.

Good morning all, working from home today.
Thanks, brother. Morning, all. Feeling better than I thought i would; amazing what a bad night's sleep will do for you. Would have liked a motor lift to hoist me out of the bed...working from home, at least!

Morning Andy and everyone and still fresh here too although dry at the moment.
Coffee in bed and then have to organise a bedroom for visitors coming on Wednesday which is going to be fun with nothing properly finished.
Have a nice Saturday all.

Morning, all. Run, or in my case it feels more likely to be hobble, club this morning. Then some clearing up. Meant to be having some drinks on the green this evening, but not at all sure, given the weather...
Have a good one, all

Morning all, not Borrklands but wetlands today as I’m going to go from Bures to Nayland down the river Stour with the club. Modified the rudder mount last evening so it will sit a fraction lower and hopefully I won’t bend it again. Made the base plate out of stainless this time instead of aluminium, a few grams heavier but far stronger.

Hope all those making it to Brooklands have a great time.

Have fun all…

Morning, all. Easing into it. Rain forecast all weekend which I suppose is just as well. A lot of stuff to do to prepare for the week ahead. Have fun if going to Brooklands!

Good morning Andy and everyone nice to know it's not raining today.
Think it will be changeable here and still fresh too had the wood burner going most of the day and could be the same again.
Have a nice Sunday all.

Morning all, revised rudder worked a treat. Today marks a step change in the home media; going live with Three 5G and breaking free of Virgin media after 30 + years. Going wireless so we can move it with us into any new home.

Also have to help Alex clear yet more concrete from his drains, I’ll weld up a modified claw for the rods.

Have fun all…

Yesterday was glorious here Phil. Spent the afternoon down on the river bank sitting outside the pub. Even got a pink face today….At last.

Morning all, bright and sunny here, I caught the sun yesterday down at Brooklands and after a brew will be cleaning the dead flies off the Abarth... thousands of 'em!

Still need to fit the new starter motor on the '68 Cooper before selling it, keep reminding myself to do it but keep forgetting

Morning, all...clear and bright now, but more rain rolling in. Still not quite 100%. Will be spending some time at my desk, I suppose...at least the GP today is at a sensible hour locally!
