It’s rare to find any, but the multiple Concours winner is unique. I sold it to a good customer of mine and now been lucky enough to get it back.

These are wonderful little cars, and if looked after and driven regularly they can be kept in immaculate and reliable condition. We love ours.

looks lovely. Steering wheel is from a later 2.8 model I would say, pretty sure they were leather only at the time
In fairness, even when they were new, UK cars had weird specs and mixtures of trim largely due to tricky nature of dealing with DeTomaso and the many distributors of Maserati in the 80s and 90s before Meridien took over.

As I recall, the wood wheel came from the next generation 2.8litre injection cars that were from 1989. Nicer wheel though so makes sense as an upgrade. Fancy a 2.8l car myself weirdly even though i am used to more modern stuff now

With really good examples of these now realising £15-20k it’s got to be worth buying one in need of work and sorting it. I paid £11k for mine and have spent about £2.5k on it and it’s properly sorted now. Everything works great except the radio.

Oh my, I really want this. I was driving in southern Italy a few years ago and saw one exactly like this in my rear view mirror. They look so cool in this colour. Looks like Biturbo prices are going up at the same rate GS prices are going down, sob, sob.

My 2.8 came from Richard as well. Again rust free etc but not a concours winner.
Still a quick car as it is light and back end can step out if you hit the loud pedal.
Huge amount of car for the money. Think a lot of folk slag them off who have never driven one and listen to the experts of doom.
I also think it is a gorgeous looking car.

I have a 2.8 and love it. There is something special when you plant the right foot and you feel the front lift and the rear dip...
I have a leather steering wheel on my '95 model - could really do with a wooden one if anyone knows of one out there...

Looking at it, I think this car was on the UK Maserati Club stand at the NEC this year and appreciated by many visitors.

Also, always fancied an RZ myself.
