This is interesting and it takes some balls to get into something like that. If there is the slightest misalignment there is shift fork endangering interference I hear.

The diag tool looks like the Launch system that was discussed on here some time ago.

I am enjoying the 360 rebuild but what an oopsey over filling the engine oil! Imagine a "normal" owner did that and had to take it to the ferrari garage and pay for it to be cleaned up and fixed

I loved it but it actually seems quite simple. The bleeding particularly. I'm assuming you could test the gears without the Software by pulling the paddles.

Clearly the self learn and centring need the correct kit.

And doesn't it seems slow in isolation?
