Happened to watch a 2009 re-run of one of my top 3 TGs....

It included....

The trip from London to Edinburgh...

JC on the footplate of the last British made train.....a steam train.....firstly other guys telling him what to do...face like a coalminer

RH on the back of one of the worlds most iconic motorcyles ever...the Vincent Black Shadow...even the name is the Dogs B0ll0x! Held the title fastest bike in the world from 1949 - 73

RM in a 1949 XK150 ...again fastest road car in its day.


Also a car I'd forgotten about on the track a Ferrari FXX.........1m.10secs laptime...wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!

Finally the spoof unveiling of MS as the STIG.........

Simply brilliant........

James May defying his Captain Slow persona by Maxing the Veyron, I especially like the reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey at the end.
