Aware their are some avid You Tuber types on here;

Is there a way to download a video onto a device to watch later or edit onto other vids to create a playlist off line.

Yes, assuming you're on a Mac, as all normal people are, Folx, or 4K Downloader. There's other farting about ways, just get an app! Setapp will five you Folx, worth it.

If you use firefox there are a bunch of addons that will let you download youtube videos (Chrome doesn't support those apps on its platform as YouTube is a daughter company).

If you install firefox and just setup one of those downloaders you can integrate it right into the webpage and get a little download icon like below.

There are literally a million ways to skin this cat.

If all you're trying to do is create an offline playlist the absolute easiest way is to pay for YouTube Premium.

Hope that helps!

Too tight to pay Ytube... was hoping to rip a few Maser vids to create a DVD for the man cave screen.

I'm assuming your man cave screen can play youtube?

Make a youtube playlist and just play it through the TV.
