Just like to say you lot are quite a decent bunch!! Even though I don't currently own a Maserati and only 50+ posts to my name.

I have read quite a number of posts here, and detected no aggression, just some good fun bantering, unlike some other forum I am in, pretty aggressive and harsh!!

The only other forum which I think is as good is probably Talkmorgan forum, very friendly bunch for an pretty small and exclusive club, same as this Maserati forum!!

I got a massive 12 mths lease on my current car, so plenty of time for me to ponder, might not end up with a Masser, but you never know??

Going back a few years ago, I would not have hesitated getting another one, I was pretty reckless, I at one stage owned 2 cars and 2 motorbikes, no one else drives in my family !! Now I am just a tight old git!!

Thanks for reading my waffle!!

Kin, its comments like this that make running this forum a joy.

I have heard from many owners coming from various other single marque forums that SportsMaserati offers a very "gentleman" experience from what they are used to......long may it continue and thank you for your kind words.

I second that thought. I'm on a couple of motor cycle forums and their right bitchy tw4ts at times.
I've been to a northern Masser meet and they all seem very friendly indeed and are always helpful with their comments. I even went for a red car instead of a grey one because of these guys and I'm sooooooo glad I did!!

"gentleman"?!? You must be ignoring Ian's and my posts then! :thumb: ha ha.

But yep, I would also like to add my similar sentiments to this thread, and to all the members on here... Everyone ('BC' excluded ofc!) has been very warm and welcoming. YOU (members) are what makes this forum great, and I am glad that I was referred to it by a couple of the SCD guys.

There are so many 'trolls', 'haters', and people with self-centred attitudes on other forums (or in other clubs), which leaves you thinking 'why do I bother [coming on here]'. But the SportsMaserati forum is a pleasure to visit, and I hope to meet many more of you fellow posters at future meets. :)

Cheers Tilum......the history of the formation of SM was a somewhat tortuous affair......but we came through it and with Matts diligence foresight and persistence its all paid off; never mind stumping up the dosh to kick it all off!

Funnily enough, I preferred silver or grey rather than red, so may be this forum could be a bad influence afterall, LOL! Only kidding.

TBH, it took me a while before I actually joined and asked various questions, I wasn't sure how the members here would react to a new member without a Masser, I had this preconception that members here are all stuck up and snobby. LOL

All newcomers are welcomed....no one judged in any shape or form, merely having a passion for the marque is all thats required

Taking people as I find them helps a lot.
